Sometimes Telling "Stories" Is NOT a Good Idea

In chapter 3, Bebe Gunn blames things she has done on a younger brother that does not exist.  What consequences or punishment might Bebe get at a real school if she had done the same things?

  1. If I was Mrs. jewels and Bebe Gunn told me lies about who write that mean stuff, I would put her in time out. Nathan S.

I would put them in the corner. Lyla B.

I would call her mom and tell her mom that they were telling lies... Maybe the Mom whip her. JaiDyn K.

I would put her outside the house and she would have to stay there for 10 minutes. Diego P.Z.

I would lock her in her room and she would have to do the laundry. Dylan R.C.

The kids in Mrs. Jewls class have so much homework because Mac talks forever ... He wants to talk and talk and talk when he tells stories instead of answering the questions Mrs. Jewls asks. Then they run out of time in class and ALL the kids have to take home work for homework. Diego PZ

The moms and dads might be angry because there is so much homework! JaidDyn
